"This book contains eighteen short but profound teachings by Gampopa, one of the forefathers of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The original title of this text is rJe dvags po rin po che’i tshogs chos chen mo, which could be translated more or less literally as Great Community Talks of Je Dakpo Rinpoche or Gampopa’s Great Teachings to the Assembly. Along with a translation of the root text, this book contains some commentary I gave on this text in Europe and America between 2004 and 2009."
